Sherman County authorities and EMS personnel were called to the McDonald’s in Goodland around 2:20 pm MST for a woman who was experiencing a seizure in the south parking lot.

A McDonald’s customer who witnessed the incident said the woman was walking in the south parking lot when she began shaking and dropped to the ground.

An ambulance arrived on site to transport the woman to Goodland Regional Medical Center. Northwest Kansas EMS workers and hospital officials were unable to comment on exactly what happened, but said she is expected to be “fine.”

Updates will come if more information develops.
