The weather forecast for northwest Kansas calls for the following:
Cold…wind…snow…and freezing drizzle today. Sustained winds out of the north at 30 mph with wind gusts expected to reach 40 mph. High 24. Total daytime snow accumulation is supposed to be less than a half inch.
Tonight…snow likely with a low of 16. The wind will continue to blow out of the north at 25-30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Less than a half inch of snow accumulation is expected.
Wednesday calls for cloudy skies and blustery winds out of the northwest that are expected to diminish in the afternoon. High 30.
Things calm down Thursday with temps warming to the mid-40’s. The gradual improvement continues with highs reaching the mid-60’s this weekend.
