Whooping cough numbers updated

andy lambertApril 14, 2015

There are now 95 confirmed cases of whooping cough in Kansas, largely the result of people who haven’t been vaccinated coming into contact with someone else who has it. Doctors say it’s possible to get the disease even if you’ve gotten the shot, but it’s not terribly likely and even then you’d likely wind up with a far weaker case of it than someone would have if they didn’t get vaccinated at all.
