Wheat Harvest In Final Stretch

Fields across Kansas continue to dry up as farmers statewide scramble to finish harvesting their wheat. Reports from the Kansas Wheat Commission and Kansas Association of Wheat Growers show yields are still lower than average, but above expectations for the year’s harvest. The quality of the wheat is down a bit because of all the rain in the past month or so, but it’s still good overall.
