Wheat Harvest Continues

Seventy percent of Kansas wheat has been harvested. That compares with an early July average of 88 percent. The latest government crop update says some cutting has been delayed by the application of herbicides to control weeds. More than 60 percent of the wheat that is still in the field is considered to be in poor to very poor condition.
