Washburn Asks For More Time In Sex Assault Probe

Washburn University is asking federal investigators for more time to respond to an investigation into how the school handled a sexual assault complaint. The school has until July 31 to turn in its sexual assault policies and procedures to the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights. Washburn wants an extra four to six weeks because of just how many documents the government wants to see.
