Voter Registration Battle Returns To Court

The American Civil Liberties Union and Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach are in court again today as they fight over the law requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. A judge could consider the ACLU’s request for a temporary injunction to keep the secretary of state from imposing a new policy in the primary next month. Kobach has said anyone who registers with the national form can vote, but it’ll only count for a congressional race.
