Two Garden City natives lost their lives Saturday afternoon in a fatal car accident.
According to Kansas Highway Patrol reports, Terry Fraker, 46, and Vonda Fraker, 48, were traveling east in their Jeep on Rodkey Road two miles west of Garden City.
Reports indicate they went off of the roadway to the left, rotating 120 degrees before going into a passenger side roll. The vehicle flipped 1.5 times on the passenger side, ejecting both vehicle occupants.
Neither of the two were wearing their seat belts when the crash occurred.
KHP reported another accident early Sunday morning two miles outside of Quinter.
Paul Smith, 23, of Collyer was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Old Highway 40. Reports indicate he lost control of his vehicle and over corrected off of the roadway, causing the vehicle to roll an unspecified number of times before coming to a rest.
Smith was taken to Gove County Medical Center with injuries. KHP reports state that he was not wearing his seat belt.
