Tuition increases will be limited

Most students at state universities in Kansas will see tuition and fees increase by no more than 3.6 percent this fall. The Board of Regents was strict in applying a cap on tuition rates imposed by the Legislature. Increases were limited this year in exchange for keeping state funding for higher education flat despite the state’s budget problems.
