Crews respond to a tractor-trailer fire on I-70 west of Colby. It’s unclear what started that fire, which led to a cloud of smoke which could be seen for several miles. The driver of that big rig was taken in an ambulance to get treatment for smoke inhalation. While the interstate wasn’t shut down while crews fought the fire, officials waved traffic through the area single-file, with near-zero visibility next to the truck because of heavy smoke.
