Colby USD 315 administrators notified local law enforcement Monday after a student reportedly made alarming comments. Chief Ron Alexander, Colby Police, said the student was removed from the high school.

“There is currently no cause for alarm by students and staff,” Alexander said in a press release.

The incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is assisting with the case.
