Study Ranks Safe States; Kansas In Top Half

Financial website WalletHub ranks Kansas as the 22nd safest state in the nation. They looked at a number of things, including risks to financial safety, danger while driving, from natural disasters, as well as at home and work. The survey gives Kansas its highest marks in home and community safety, where the state ranks 12th. Nebraska came in 20th overall, Colorado is 25th. Massachusetts came in number one.
