Storms More Damaging Than Initially Thought

There’s more hail damage than initially thought across parts of northwest Kansas. The Northwest Research Extension says hail as of late has taken a toll on the wheat crop in Decatur, Wallace, Sherman and Thomas Counties. The beating from that hail doesn’t help the wheat crop, which already hadn’t gotten any favors from the dry spring.
