State Rep: Group “Raided Nursing Home” To Find Supporters

A Republican group wants a Kansas state representative to apologize for characterizing GOP politicians supporting a Democratic candidate as “nursing home” residents. Dozens of current and former Republican officials are endorsing Paul Davis for governor, the presumptive Democratic nominee. The group Republicans for Kansas Values wants an apology from GOP State Representative J.R. Claeys, who said on Twitter that the organization had “really raided the nursing home” to find Republican Davis supporters.
