State Issues Warnings For Seven Lakes, Two Reservoirs

Seven lakes in Kansas have high levels of toxic algae. The warning from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment covers Chisholm Creek Park Lake in Sedgwick County, Memorial Park Lake in Barton County and Jewell State Fishing Lake in Jewel County. Warnings also have been issued for Lake Warnock in Atchison County and South Park Lake in Johnson County, plus parts of the Milford & Marion Reservoirs.
