State House Debates Budget Bill

Debate begins in the Kansas House on a bill aimed at closing a more than $330 million gap in the current budget. The proposal up for debate today would mostly move highway funding and public pension money to cover the difference. Current projections suggest an even bigger gap in the next budget, which starts in July.
