
The Sherman County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the six names on their “WANTED” list online are the six people who have yet to be arrested following an undercover drug investigation.
The joint law enforcement operation between the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Sherman County Sheriff’s Office and Goodland Police Department came to an end Jan. 10. The operation conducted was an extensive investigation into the distribution and possession of illegal narcotics to include marijuana and methamphetamine.
The six month investigation saw the issuance of 18 arrest warrants for individuals living in and around the Goodland area for felony offenses associated with the distribution and possession of the illegal drugs.
As of today, 11 of the 18 arrest warrants have been executed (click link to view who all has been arrested). According to the Sherman County Sheriff’s Department, here are the names and charges listed on the arrest warrants for the remaining six:
Fabian Ledesma: Age 22
-Arrest warrant issued for distribution of non-controlled substance as a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit theft.
Anadelia Ledesma: Age 24
-Arrest warrant issued for conspiracy to commit distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of controlled substance using communication facility.
James Sheats: Age 20
-Arrest warrant issued for conspiracy to commit distribution of oxycodone, distribution of oxycodone, distribution of controlled substance using communication facility, no drug tax stamp
Richard Connell: Age 26
-Arrest warrant issued for aggravated endangering of a child.
Michael Garza: Age 36
-Arrest warrant issued for distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of a non-controlled substance a controlled substance, distribution of controlled substance using a communication facility.
Nicholas Slusher: Age 33
-Arrest warrant issued for conspiracy to commit distribution of oxycodone, distribution of oxycodone, distribution of controlled substance using communication facility, no drug tax stamp
