Hail, wind, heavy rainfall and a couple of confirmed tornadoes pounded western, northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Minor damage has been reported.

The National Weather Service in Goodland is expecting more of the same Thursday. Conditions are favorable for strong to severe storms to develop in the afternoon hours. The best chances appear to cut right through the heart of the Rocking M Media listening area…Dundy County (NE) southeast through Sherman and Thomas Counties, to Wichita, Logan and Gove Counties (KS).
