Sentence Handed Down In Medicaid Fraud Case

A woman in Winfield will have to pay back more than $5,000 after pleading no contest to Medicaid fraud. She’ll also be on probation for a year. The state accused her of billing them for more than 400 hours of work that she didn’t actually do when she worked as a personal care attendant in 2012.
