Kansas Senator Ralph Ostmeyer, 40th District, will not seek re-election in November 2016. Senator Ostmeyer has served 12 years in the Kansas Senate, preceded by 4 years in the Kansas House of Representatives.
He would like to thank his constituents for allowing him the privilege to serve them, and for all of their support during his years spent at the Kansas State Capitol. This was not an easy decision for Senator Ostmeyer, but he does look forward to being home more to spend time with his wife and children and most importantly, support his grandkids.
