Democrat Chad Taylor is terminating his Senate campaign. So far, no reason for the decision from the Shawnee County D-A. In a statement, Independent Greg Orman’s campaign wished Taylor well and congratulated him on a spirited campaign. Incumbent Pat Roberts issued a statement of his own, blasting Orman and calling Taylor’s move a “corrupt bargain” between the Democrat and Independent. So far there’s no evidence suggesting Orman had a deal with Taylor to get him to drop out.
