SE KS Woman Admits To Embezzlement, Theft

A former bank employee in southeast Kansas will spend a year in federal prison. She admitted to stealing more than $278-thousand from Exchange State Bank in St. Paul, Kansas and two customers when she worked there. This went on for nearly six years, before a regulatory exam and an audit revealed bank records had been changed in an attempt to cover it up.
