REPORT: Voter ID Law Stifles KS Voter Turnout

A new report from the Government Accountability Office uses Kansas as an example of a state that enacted a tough Voter ID law and then saw election turnout drop from 2008 to 2012. The report comes just days before the voter registration deadline, which is Tuesday. Kansas requires proof of citizenship in order to sign up to vote.
