Report: Progress In Wheat Seeding, Fall Harvest

The latest numbers from the National Agricultural Statistics Service show 5 percent of the Kansas wheat crop is seeded, about average for this time of year. The corn harvest is now at 18 percent, normally 23 percent by now. 55 percent of the corn is rated good or excellent. In addition, 2 percent of the Kansas sorghum crop is now in the bin.
