A new report from Gallup finds Kansas was the only state where the percentage of people without health insurance went up in 2014. 14.4 percent of people in the state didn’t have health coverage last year, compared to 12.5 percent in 2013. Supporters of expanding Medicaid point to the report as evidence of need to grow the program, while opponents point out other states saw their uninsured rates drop without expanding Medicaid.
