Report: Deep Cuts Possible At Ft. Riley, Ft. Leavenworth

A new report from the U-S Army shows Fort Riley could lose 16,000 base employees during cuts to defense spending. A base spokesman calls it a worst-case scenario and says that’s not likely to actually happen. For Fort Leavenworth, the report lists a potential loss of 2,500 workers. That’s roughly half of the total there.
