Rain in forecast; expected to help wheat

Experts believe rain forecast this week and next in western Kansas won’t end the drought but will be good for the wheat crop. The National Agricultural Statistics Service reports that 28 percent of the wheat in Kansas is in poor to very poor shape right now, but it’s also believed it can be saved.
