Porsch, Gassmann bring two state titles back to northwest Kansas

Tristan Porsch of Hoxie finished off a perfect freshman campaign by winning the 3-2-1A state wrestling title in the 120 pound weight class. Porsch defeated freshman David Hileman of Smith Center in a 13-7 decision. He finished the season with a 39-0 record.

Dylan Gassmann of Oakley emerged a state champion from the  220 pound weight class at the 3-2-1A state wrestling championship. Gassmann defeated junior Kyle Palic of Marion by 3-2 decision in the finals. He finished the season with a 22-6 record.
