Officer-involved shooting in Colby

andy lambertJuly 20, 2015

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation takes over the probe into an officer-involved shooting over the weekend in Colby. The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office isn’t saying much about what happened, only that its deputies as well as Colby Police officers were involved in that shooting around midnight Friday night at a home near 5th and Martin. What isn’t clear is what led law enforcement to open fire, and the condition of the person they hit.
