Oakley & Goodland Run at Syracuse

SYRACUSE, Kan — Cross Country runners from Oakley & Goodland participated in the Syracuse Invitational XC Meet.

Oakley girls had the most success of area teams placing fourth in the team standings with 94 points. Stanton County girls won with 38.

Danielle Allison led the way for the Lady Plainsmen placing 8th but OHS had three total ladies place inside the top 15 as Jaelle Johnson & Citori Bosserman placed 13th & 14th respectively. Jade Renner (25th), Andrea Rama (40th) & Emma Evins (44th) round out the rest of the Oakley runners.

Goodland girl runners finished toward the bottom, Claire Scheopner (41st), Hailey Schurr (45th)

The Goodland boys had better success placing eighth. Trent Coon led the way placing 14th. Noah Schears was the Cowboys second best runner coming in 33rd. Micah Daise (48th), Nate Schears (51st), Kade Belden (54th), John Coumerilh (57th) & Chandler Clayville (59th) rounded out the rest of the Goodland runners.

Oakley was only one runner short of being able to place as a team but still had a good showing. Tyler Schoenberger placed 35th. RJ Weber took 39th. Sean Runnalls finished 44th & Calvin Cooper took 56th.
