NW KS Wheat Harvest Reaches Midway Point

The wheat harvest continues, with northwest Kansas said to be about halfway done. Depending on the weather, things could get wrapped up in the next week. Cornerstone Ag in Colby says there’s no rhyme or reason to it; some fields are getting 5-10 bushels an acre while it’s 60 bushels in others. Test weights are in the upper 50’s per acre in Thomas County.
