NW KS Farmers Honored By Governor

A handful of farmers from northwest Kansas are among those recognized by the governor for water and energy conservation efforts. Michael Herrmann of Kinsley, Dighton’s Mark Eitel, The Living Acres Network in Gove County and McCarty Dairy at Rexford are being honored for working to save water and energy through things like cover crops, solar pumping stations and wind turbines, among other things.
