Northwest Tech Hires Two New Head Coaches

GOODLAND, KS– Northwest will have two more brand new head coaches for the 2018-2019 school year. Tuesday, NW Tech announced they had hired Anna Voss to lead the softball program. Voss recently was  at Seward County CC as the pitching coach for last season. Prior to that she worked with pitchers and catcher at Barton CC for previous three years. This will be Voss’ first ever head coaching position as she takes over for Taylor Hatfield who stepped down at the end of last season after leading the team through its inaugural season.


The other new head coach is Nathan Padia, who takes over the mens basketball program. Padia, who was the number two assistant for the previous last two years, will replace Jeremy Johnston who left Tech to go be the lead assistant at NCAA D2 Metro State in Denver. Padia, who was the head coach for the NW Tech JV team also worked as a graduate assistant coach at Ottawa University and a assistant coach at D2 Southwest Baptist.
