New rules cap earnings for retired educators

Kansas educators are concerned that new state pension rules could discourage retired teachers from returning to the classroom. Under the old rules, a teacher or school administrator could draw a KPERS benefit and still work full time. The new rules cap earnings at $25,000 a year.
