More snow coming to Tri-state area

Another winter storm will blow into the area tonight and into Tuesday, bringing multiple inches of snow to parts of northwest Kansas, southwest Nebraska, and eastern Colorado.Screen shot 2014-02-03 at 11.26.35 AM

 

A winter weather advisory is in effect from Wray into south-central Nebraska and south towards Oakley. Four to six inches of accumulating snow fall is expected to accumlate along Interstate 70 east across the entire state.

 

The highest amounts of snowfall are expected to be south of Highway 40. Greeley County is in a winter storm warning where six to eight inches of snow is in the forecast.

 

Snowfall should begin this evening with the most intense snow coming later in the night through Thursday morning.
