darrellpatilloA memorial fund has been set up for former northwest Kansas resident Darrell Pattillo, 49, who lost his life last week in a house fire in Salina.┬áDonations are being sought to help cover the expenses for a proper memorial for Pattillo, who had no immediate family in the area. A fund has also been set up for former Colby residents, and newlyweds, Daniel and Amber Crotinger, whose home was lost in the fire that took Pattillo’s life.

Originally from southern California, where he served in the United States Navy, Pattillo worked in northwest Kansas for nearly two decades for various media outlets including: KLOE/KKCI/KWGB radio in Goodland, KXXX/KRDQ radio in Colby, the Colby Free Press and most recently, openspacessports.com.

Donations are being accepted for each fund at Sunflower Bank.
