TOPEKA, KAN. – The Mega Millions jackpot has been increased to an estimated $297 million, with a cash option of $158.9 million for tonight’s drawing! The Mega Millions jackpot has been on a roll since October 1, after a Maryland resident claimed a $189 million jackpot.
Mega Millions isn’t the only game offering a large jackpot this weekend. The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated $100 million, with a cash option of $56.1 million for Saturday night’s drawing. Although the jackpot was not hit in Wednesday night’s drawing, one lucky ticket purchased in northeast Kansas matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win a cash prize worth $10,000!
In addition, the Hot Lotto jackpot continues to rise. The estimated Hot Lotto jackpot for Saturday night’s drawing is an estimated $1.75 million.
The Super Kansas Cash jackpot rolled to an estimated $130,000 after Wednesday night’s drawing. Although no one hit the jackpot, three lucky tickets matched the first five Super Kansas Cash numbers to each win a cash prize worth $2,000! All three tickets were purchased in northeast Kansas.
The northeast region of Kansas includes the following counties: Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris, and the northern half of Lyon.
