KSHSAA approves “Cooperative Agreement” for some area schools

At the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) Board of Directors meeting in early September cooperative agreement was approved for a number of western Kansas schools. Cooperative agreement means schools may be combined for certain interschool activities.

School approved for cooperative agreement (with activities listed in parenthesis):

  • Hays-TMP and Marion/Ellis High Schools (Boys Soccer)
  • Smith Center and Kensington/Thunder Ridge High Schools (Boys & Girls Cross Country, Boys Golf)
  • WaKeeney-Trego Community and Quinter High Schools (Wrestling)
  • Healy and Colby-Heartland Christian Jr. High Schools (8-man Football)
  • Ness City, Ness City-Sacred Heart and Bazine-Western Plains Jr. High Schools (8-man Football)
  • Sharon Springs and Weskan Jr. High Schools (11-man Football)
