Farmers in Kansas join a national suit over genetically modified corn. The suit claims Syngenta’s crop got mixed in with the rest of the corn supply, so countries that won’t take genetically-modified crops wouldn’t buy any corn from Kansas and it pushed the price lower. A company spokesman insists the lawsuit doesn’t have any merit, and that the Syngenta’s products help farmers instead of hurting them.
