KS, AZ Appeal Citizenship Law To SCOTUS

As expected, Kansas and Arizona are asking the U.S. Supreme Court to require federal elections officials to require people to prove their citizenship before signing up to vote. An appeals court ruled back in November the states couldn’t demand help enforcing the laws by insisting the federal voter registration form be changed to add the proof-of-citizenship requirement.
