The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects in Kansas. The letting took place Dec. 18 in Topeka.

 

District One – Northeast

 

Wyandotte – 70-105 KA‑1003‑07 – 118th Street overpass, 1.3 miles east of K‑7, grading, bridge and surfacing, Phillips Hardy Inc., Boonville, MO., $5,476,009.31.

 

Brown – 20-7 KA‑2054‑01 – K‑20, bridge over South Fork Wolf River, 3.95 miles northeast of the east junction with U.S. 73, bridge replacement, Ebert Construction Company Inc. & Subsidiary, Wamego, KS, $1,484,755.82.

 

Johnson – 435-46 KA‑2100‑01 – I‑435, bridge numbers 054, 055, 273 and 274 located 1.75, 1.76, 1.74 and 1.765 miles west of the state line, bridge replacement, Clarkson Construction Company, Kansas City, MO, $9,471,973.97.

 

Osage – 56-70 KA‑3393‑01 – U.S. 56, south junction of U.S.56/K‑31, north and east to the county line (except for the City of Burlingame), recycle and overlay, 25.7 miles, Dustrol Inc., Towanda, KS, $1,968,202.33.

 

Wabaunsee – 30-99 KA‑3401‑01 – K‑30,  I‑70/K‑30 junction north to Maple Hill, milling and overlay, 2.0 miles, Bettis Asphalt & Construction Inc., Topeka, KS, $212,039.16.
