Kansas Unemployment Rate Increases Slightly

The unemployment rate in Kansas ticks up in July, from 4.8 to 4.9 percent. The number of people with jobs fell by roughly 3,300 during the month. That said, the labor department says there was at least moderate job growth during the month.
