Kansas trails only N Dakota in 2014 revenue drops

A new report shows Kansas had one of the largest revenue drops among all states in 2014, as lawmakers look to fill a massive budget hole. State revenue declined 3.8 percent last year according to the census bureau, with only Alaska and Delaware experiencing bigger percentage revenue drops. North Dakota saw the biggest increase in collections in 2014, followed by New Mexico and Texas.
