Kansas still searching for Medicaid leader

Nearly a year after the leader of the state’s managed care Medicaid program resigned, Kansas is still looking for his replacement. Phil Hermanson resigned as the KanCare inspector general back in June after questions were raised about his lack of experience and past legal problems. The inspector general is supposed to be a watchdog over three managed care companies who manage the health care program for the state. Several people have reportedly been interviewed for the job, which two people have turned down.
