
OBERLIN, KS — Make it now four in a row for the Hoxie boys golf team as they took home the Northwest Kansas League title at the Oberlin Country Club.
Even though they did not have the top individual placer, the Indians had four of their top six golfers place inside the top six. Aston Dowell & Jarrod Dible came in second and third. Dylan Weimer & Parker Jones each shot a 90 to place fifth & sixth respectively.
Kendrick Woody shot the low individually round with an 83 to take first place individually to lead Rawlins County to a third place finish with a 395.
Spencer Wishon shot an 87 to place fourth to lead second place finishing Oberlin and Wallace County took fourth shooting a 419 led by Chandler Van Allen who placed seventh.
Regionals are Monday with 1A golfers going to Grainfield & 2A golfers heading to Ellis.
