The Kansas Department of Transportation has, to this point, closed no highways or interstates. KDOT is reporting that most roads throughout the state are “completely snowpacked.”

According to the latest data, Colorado and Nebraska have no highway or interstate closures at this time.

A winter storm warning remains in effect for northwest Kansas, eastern Colorado and southwest Nebraska until 5PM Mountain/6PM Central this evening. Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected to continue and will not decrease until later this afternoon into early this evening. Light snow will finally end by the middle of the night.

Extreme caution is advised if traveling or commuting.
