Greeley Co. man dies in small plane crash

A single engine plane crashed for unknown reasons Saturday night in Tribune, leaving the only man on board dead.

 

According to Kansas Highway Patrol reports, 63-year-old Randall Fahrenholtz of Tribune was the only person on board the plane when it went down around 6 p.m. last night.

 

He was traveling northeast and crashed 1.8 miles north of K-96 on County Road 5, about 11 miles west of the K-27/K-96 junction in Tribune. accident

 

The NTSB and FAA are expected to arrive on scene today.
