Great Bend Murder Suspect To Get Mental Evaluation

The trial of a man facing a murder charge near Great Bend is being put off so he can be tested to see if he’s mentally fit to go to trial. The Barton County sheriff told a judge that inmate has been hallucinating in the jail. This is the same inmate who made national headlines when his defense tried to get his neck tattoo – which reads “MURDER” – covered up for fear that it would prejudice a jury.
