Governor wants lawsuit tossed

Governor Sam Brownback is asking a judge to considering tossing out a lawsuit filed by The Associated Press and two Kansas newspapers. Reporters are suing to get the names of applicants for the Saline County Commission and the Brownback administration argues the records are exempt from the state’s Open Records Act. The commission is a public board.
