
Topeka- Kansas Governor Sam Brownback today announced the grant recipients of the 2014 Federal Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) Grant Program. This FVPSA funding provides funds to domestic violence programs that ensure services are provided 24-hours a day and are free to domestic violence victims and their children. Many programs provide outreach, shelter, support groups, crisis intervention, advocacy in obtaining protection from abuse orders, court accompaniment, transportation, and prevention education in schools and communities.
